Welcome to Love and Grace!
My goal with this website is to encourage my brothers and sisters in the Lord in this, often times, sad and difficult time that we live in. I plan on using the Bible and testimonies to do this. If you have a testimony that you would like posted please e-mail me using the link at the bottom of this page. I plan on a special page for testimonies.

Weekly Devotion From God's Minute (3/11/01)
"GOD WILL KEEP HIS COVENANT OF LOVE WITH YOU. HE WILL LOVE YOU AND BLESS YOU."
(DEUTERONOMY 7:12-13 NIV)
Dear one, as you know this world is filled with people who feel unloved, and will do almost anything to find it. What a shame it is that they do not know God, because "GOD IS LOVE. AND WHOEVER LIVES IN LOVE LIVES IN GOD, AND GOD IN HIM." (1 JOHN 4:16)
After all, whether they know it or not, everyone is surrounded bu God's Great Love for it is like the oxygen we breathe; there is plenty of it for each of us, and still so very many are starving for it!
Why not reach out to another today, and share a little of God's love with them. It is as simple to do as saying thatnk you t a store clerk, or just smiling as another and saying "How are you today!" Little acts of kindness like these go along way towards brightening another's day, and by doing sucj things it brightens our day as well!
Also Dear One, the next time you pray thank God for filling you with His Love, and remember to "GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD; HIS LVOE ENDURES FOREVER." (PSALM 136:1)
P.S. If by chance you haven't experienced God's Great Love yet, don't worry. It is there waitign for you right now! You can claim it by loving the Lord with all of your heart, and showing your love for others as well! So why not begin doing it today!

Thoughts From Scripture
"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." Romans 15:4 (NIV)
The True Nature of the Law:
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit."
(Romans 8:1-4 NIV)
The reason our Great Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, was so that believers will be able to embody the true and full intentions of the law. Very often in our day to day life we as Christians can fall into the trap of legalism. The above scripture is a good reminder to us that as sinful humans we often miss the intentions of the law found in the Old Testament. Jesus continually, in His ministry, pointed out the the Pharisees that they were missing the intentions and full meaning of the law. Not only did they miss the nature of it, but they added many unnecessary and burdensome laws to the laws that God gave them. So in our life, each day, we should constantly remind ourselves of the true intentions of the law, and that Jesus fulfilled that law "in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit."
